Welcome back all my readers who can't get enough of my wayward opinions.
So I was reading the news today and found an interesting article.
Apparently Swearing has been scientifically proven to help relieve pain.
What is this nonsense you say? well read on and you will see what i'm talking about

Dr. Richard Stephens! and his team at Keele University in the United Kingdom, have hit upon a ground breaking new study!!!
Is it a new cure for cancer?
Is it a cure for AIDS?
NO!!! It is a justification to people worldwide to Swear!
Apparently through the utilization of scientific test groups with people with their hands in ice water, this test has provided solid information that swearing will actually help to relieve pain as well as up our tolerance for the pain itself.
The ones who swore could keep their hands in the icy deathy water could tolerate it more if they were swearing than if they were using a word to describe a table
Although i'm sure that it was mentally more satisfying to say "Bollocks" while freezing your hand off, than say "shiny" I think some of us would like further research into what makes this happen.
does swearing secret a chemical in your brain similar to vicoden or perhaps darvocet?
I guess we will have to wait and see what further information this study brings to light before we will ever know the secret
In this writers opinion I say, whatever helps, helps. If it helps you out well then shout all the swear words you want from the rooftops.
Or at least while your falling off of them to lessen the seconds of pain before impacting the un-forgiving pavement below.
