So if you haven’t heard, some whiney basketball player got called a crybaby - Boohoo
Because Papa Johns put this on a T-shirt- they whined more - Boo More hoo - So they said Heckfire lets give away some pizzas at 23 cents to honor the whiney basketball player
Well good luck trying to collect! If you are in one of the areas that serve the pizza's trying to call is an exercise in futility. The lines are permanently busy - more than likely because everyone and their brother are off trying to get one of these pizzas!
Let’s see if it’s any easier to walk into the shop - First off we don't even know if our location is honoring the deal, but even if they are, who knows if you will be able to get in??
Well we were unable to get in to get a single pizza for 23 cents :( but thanks to friends and family (Thanks Mom!) that did get the pizza - we got an exclusive picture! Click below to read more!
Well we couldn’t get the pizza- but they were selling pizzas here in Ohio for a mere 23 cents. One of the main reasons? Hour long lines - all of the phones in our major city - completely busy. We had tried to call for hours upon hours hoping to have a taste of the sweet sweet 23 cent deal. Once the phones turned out to be a bad idea, a coworker and I figured- we would outsmart the masses, and head down there - This is what we saw.

Needless to say we did not get any pizza :( Good news for those people about an hour north of us tho
My Mother and coworkers up north of me were actually able to call in and place an order for a 23 cent pizza! A picture below is the proof that the pizza did exist although a receipt might have been nice.
The lesson here is - unless you live in the country it will take you hours to get a 23 cent pizza.
Or the lesson is - there is no such thing as a less than a quarter lunch unless it’s a day where a pizza company makes basketball fans upset and you can wait a few hours.
You decide
Here we see 1 piece of a 23 cent pizza pie - that works out to about 2 cents per piece - so here is someone really enjoying their 2 cents.
